Messaging Terms

These terms apply when you give BDS Landscape Co. (BDS Landscape, LLC) your mobile number and agree to be texted: on the sign-up page, on the estimate request form, on a quote, invoice or appointment page BDS sent you, or verbally to a member of staff who then records it. The box for texts about your job starts ticked and you can untick it before you send. The box for offers starts unticked, and only you can tick it. Sending with a box ticked is what creates the agreement.

Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything from BDS Landscape Co. The quote, the work and the price are exactly the same either way.

BDS Landscape Co. operates two separate text message programs, and you choose them separately. Being in one does not put you in the other.

• Customer care. Messages about your own job: appointment reminders and confirmations, when the crew is on the way, a quote ready to read, an invoice or receipt, and replies to questions you send.
• Offers and reminders. Promotional messages about services and seasonal work, such as fall planting season and new outdoor projects.

You must be at least 18, and the mobile number must be yours, or you must be the person who is allowed to agree for it. Do not sign up a number that belongs to somebody else. If a number changes hands, tell BDS on (706) 676-5535 so it can be taken off.

Message frequency varies. Customer care messages follow your job, so they arrive when something is actually actually happening: typically a handful across a project, and none at all between jobs. Offers and seasonal reminders are sent no more than about twice a month.

BDS Landscape Co. charges nothing for text messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier, depending on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.

Reply STOP to any message from BDS and you will be unsubscribed. You will get one final message confirming it, and then nothing further. STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and QUIT all work.

Opting out of texts does not cancel your job, your quote or your appointment. BDS will simply go back to calling or emailing you about them.

Text messages depend on your carrier's network and on your handset. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Neither is BDS. Nothing time-critical about your job will be sent by text alone. If a message matters, BDS will call.

The program is supported on AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile and most smaller US carriers. Carrier support can change, and T-Mobile in particular makes no guarantee that messages will be delivered.

Your mobile number and your consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and opt-in data is not shared with anybody for any purpose. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
